Reflections on My Experience at the Dakar Biennale 2024

What an incredible adventure at the Dakar Biennale 2024! It was an immense honor to have represented Moroccan design by showcasing three of my creations: the Pouf armchair, the Bildi teapot, and the Raïma table.

A big thank you to the organizers of this unforgettable event, and especially to the curator of the design section, Ousmane Mbaye, for his vision and dedication that made this biennale a resounding success.

What joy to reunite with my big brother, Serge Mouangue, who was my diploma director at ENSCI Les Ateliers. Our reunion was rich in emotions and inspiration, reviving precious memories and opening doors to new perspectives!

I was delighted to meet the entire team of the Hall Haus collective led by my little brother, Sammy Bernoussi. Your energy and creativity are contagious, and I’m already excited about our future collaborations!

Happy to have reunited and connected with all my colleagues from the great family of African designers. Together, we are shaping the future of design on our continent. A warm salute to Lisa Colombe Adjobi, Mable Sagbohan, Souad El Maysour, Paul Ledron, Carnot Ingénierie, Somiandesign, Cheick Diallo, and Studio Hamed Ouattara. Your work and passion are a constant source of inspiration.

See you soon for new adventures, and long live African design!
